SPECIAL NOTICE: HALIBUT LIMIT

Itís come to our attention that many people now believe that the limit for halibut has changed to 1 per person per day from the previous limit of 2 pp/pd. This is not true for where we fish, Cook Inlet. Unfortunately the limit has dropped to 1 in SouthEast AK. meaning Sitka, Juneau, etc. The resource is still strong in Cook Inlet and the limit for 2014 will be 2 fish per person, per day of which one can be over 29" and one 29" or less.

Come Visit Our Alaska . . .

Located in Ninilchik on the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska, Reel 'Em Inn - Cook Inlet Charters is a complete Alaskan vacation package waiting for your enjoyment.  Please take a few moments to look around our website and you'll find we offer many services to plan the perfect Alaskan vacation:

190# halibut caught on Spencer's 12th birthday.

Clam Jams - Guided Razor Clam Trips Across Cook Inlet When Tides Permit (-3 or Bigger)

The clams are huge compared to the ones on the beaches near us and there is no limit to how many you may retain per day. We will transport you to the beach, provide you with buckets, a shovel, and if need be we will show you how to dig them. You are on your own to clean them when we return. The trip across Cook Inlet to the clam beaches and back is approximately 60 miles. This adventure runs 8-10 hours. During certain tides there is a possibility of doing a diversion for a quick "chicken run" to pick up some smaller halibut. Please call us for pricing and availability.

After serving our guests for over 25 years and fishing the Alaskan waters for 35 years, you can rest assured we can help you find the perfect combination of services to meet your expectations.  We welcome families with children.  If the child is big enough to hold a pole we'll show them a fishing adventure that will be remembered for a lifetime!

Air travelers wishing to fish on the Kenai Peninsula first fly to Anchorage.  You can then either take a 30 minute commuter flight to Soldotna or Kenai and rent a car for the 40 mile drive to Ninilchik.  Or you can rent a car in Anchorage and drive the scenic 180 miles around Turnagain Arm, through the Chugach and Kenai Mountains to Ninilchik.  Don't forget your camera!

We understand you may have many questions about our service so we've included as much as possible on this website.  Information about our Guided Halibut and Salmon Fishing, Lodgings, Rates and a bit about Ninilchik are included here.  But since we cannot anticipate every question there is an On-Line Form that you can fill to get answers to questions you may not have found here. You'll find we offer a great source of information and will work hard to help you in any way we can.
