We wanted to take a moment to thank you for an amazing day on the Cook Inlet.  Garrett has to be one of the hardest working (and young) guides in Alaska!  Being fisherman we really appreciated that he got us involved immediately in the hooking and landing of fish.  We were fortunate to get a couple of big ones (175 and 56 pounders) in the deeper water and number of nice eating size Halibut in the shallower water.  Garrett encouraged us to try several techniques, our favorite was jigging with the lighter weight rods.  We were also fortunate to have Mitchell along as mate which really helped in getting the big one in the boat!  It was our first time fishing for Halibut and despite comments from some anglers who claim it is no different than pulling an anchor off the bottom these fish can put up a serious fight!  Thanks again to everyone.

I just wanted to write and tell you what a wonderful time we had on our fishing trip Monday,  July 26th. My cousin Bill Hays from Soldotna had recommend we use your guide service...and I am so glad we did.  I almost did not go on this trip as I had heard how difficult it was to reel in the fish and how you had to be cautious to do everything correctly.....but decided to go ahead and try it...and I am so thankful.  It was so much fun - I even cut the gills myself and threw it in the live well!!!   Oh it was just fantastic!!!    

Garrett was just awesome in taking care of us...what an efficient, polite, friendly  and hospitable young man. Now - when i first met him - he appeared so young and i thought  i was crazy to put my life in the hands of this young man....but his skills and expertise certainly took care of any concerns whatsoever.  It was amazing to watch him work.  Garrett was so patient to help and explain what we needed to do.  He was very attentive to each person and their needs.  We were very impressed!  I felt i was on a fishing trip with a member of my family rather than a paid guide I had only met a few hours before.

So thank you so much for a memorable wonderful time.  If I ever have the opportunity to return to Alaska your guide service will definitely be on our list of things to do...hopefully I will have some friends/relatives that will visit Alaska and I will have the privilege to recommend you to them.
